WAR12 is just around the corner

Wieldy known as the pioneer of obstacle races in the UAE, Wadi Adventure race series has evolved as the as the ultimate obstacle course for both amateur and professional athletes, the 12th edition of the grueling adventure race; Wadi Adventure Race (WAR) 12 will take place at Wadi Adventure in Al Ain on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 8AM onwards.

Wadi Adventure Race is divided into 5KM, 10KM and 15KM categories which perfectly suits age-appropriate athletes to compete in their chosen category. Participants can register online for the race on Premier Online.

Speaking about the event, Nilesh Mistry, General Manager of Wadi Adventure in Al Ain, said: “Be here to witness the biggest and the best of all obstacle races in the UAE. Wadi Adventure Race is a great opportunity for the fitness community to come together for a day of excitement, fun and a test of true athletic ability, and the free training sessions are the best way to train your body for the great event ahead.”

A 4-Week Free Fitness Training Camp leading into WAR12 was conducted starting from December 17, 2016 onwards, every Saturday between 8AM to 9:30AM. The training sessions where all based around the actual obstacles to be used in the up-coming Wadi Adventure Race, ensuring that each session was a full body work out, and help participants get ready to face the obstacle come race day.

The last training session for this month is scheduled for Saturday, January 7, starting sharp at 8AM and finishing around 9:30AM with a cool down in the temperature controlled pool.

A healthy breakfast can also be purchased post training sessions which should be mentioned while making the advance booking for the training sessions. The training session is open to everyone who would like to kick start their week with some healthy lifestyle at Al Ain’s only open beach (Man-made wave pool).
